Japan, UAE strengthen cooperation with MoU signing

DUBAI: KOIKE Yuriko, Governor of Tokyo, and Abdulla Mohammed Al Basti, Secretary-General of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Monday, deepening the bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and Japan. The MoU focuses on exchanging knowledge in various fields such as infrastructure and transportation, culture and entertainment, industry and start-ups, education, emergency preparedness, urban resilience, and digital technology. The signing took place at the Asia-Pacific Cities Summit and Mayors’ Forum 2025 at Expo City Dubai.
